I've been called the real-life Bridget Jones.

Minus, of course, the hot British boyfriend and constant neurosis.

Did you know that the Lord lives at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York? According to my former newsroom's stylebook, he does.

Of course, I'm going to go to hell someday, because when I read that, I nearly started laughing.

But, it did start to explain so many things.

I'm not quite sure what I think about the current state of my generation. I'm somewhat scared, and yet not surprised, that people still don't know the difference between "can I" and "may I".

I still insist that I'm not a PR flack. It just kind of, sort of, happened that I'd fall in love with public health and communications. And then I listen to myself talk sometimes and wonder what happened in between the "girl who loves journalism" and the "one who wants the cushy PR job."
